What schools do you need senior reps for?
We are considering senior reps for all of Orleans, Jefferson and St Tammany parish schools
Do I need to be a junior or can I be a senior to apply?
Senior Reps are actually juniors who will represent Amin Russell Photography in their junior and senior years
When do you start accepting applications for next year?
Applications are being accepted upon the start of the junior year
What are you looking for in a senior rep?
• Must be a junior
• Like having your photograph taken and have a fun sense of personal style
• Live in New Orleans, Jefferson or St Tammany Parishes
• Agree to promote Amin Russell Photography to your friends, family and classmates
• Represent ONLY Amin Russell and use the images from your session as your senior photos
• Return a contract/model release signed by you and your parent/guardian.
Are you accepting guys and gals to be a senior rep?
We are accepting both guys and gals to be our senior reps
Is there a specific type of personality or hobby/interest that you are looking for your senior rep to have?
Senior reps are ideally involved in school activities and have a fun personality
What are my job duties and responsibilities as a senior rep?
• Have a great style, lots of personality, be outgoing, and enjoy being in front of the camera
• Be a current high school junior
• Live in and attend school in either Hinds or Madison counties
• Be available to have one session completed by May 1st – this will be the session that we use to create your marketing materials.
• Agree to tell your friends and classmates about Amin Russell Photography and hand out cards with your images and my information on them to all your friends and classmates.
• Post your images on Facebook or whatever social media you like
• Show off your images to friends via a proof book that I will make and give to you (for free!), etc.
• The incentives and discounts you earned from promoting Amin Russell Photography will be applied to your session so that you can get tons of free prints and products!
• Have your parents or legal guardians sign a model release form allowing me to use your images as advertising in print or web format.
• Agree to represent ONLY Amin Russell Photography and use the images as your senior pictures.
• Agree to have your senior portraits done by Amin Russell Photography.
Does it cost to be a senior rep?
It costs you nothing to be a senior rep. We only ask that you make a minimum purchase from your full session in the fall.
How do I apply to be a senior rep?
Submit completed application and email it along with a photo to info@aminrussell.com
When will I find out if I have been selected as a senior rep?
Senior reps will be notified via email no later than April 15th
What will I receive in exchange for representing your studio?
• A free mini senior photography session in April to get some great photos for your Rep Kit
• A full portrait session in the fall of your senior year with unlimited clothing changes and several locations ($300.00 value), minimum $300 purchase in prints or products. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required and applied to your session print or product purchase.
• The opportunity to earn print credits for every person you refer to Amin Russell Photography for your senior portraits (your friends will get perks too!).
• A jump drive of 5 low-res, watermarked images to be used on your social networking pages (Facebook, Instagram, blog, etc.)
• 50 personalized referral cards. Each card will be personalized with your name, your photos and our business information to hand to friends, family and classmates
• One 5×5 press printed album with full pages of your images to be used to show to your friends, family and classmates
• An opportunity to earn print credits, discounts and a $50 visa gift card for each person you refer to Amin Russell Photography.
If I’m selected, when will my session take place?
The mini session takes place in April/May of your junior year and the full session takes place in September/October of your senior year
Do I have any say over where that session is located or what I wear?
We are open to any requests for outdoor locations and may suggest the best type of clothing to wear in order to achieve the look you are trying to achieve
Do my referrals get a discount and/or do I receive anything extra if I go beyond quota?
Referrals will receive 10% when they submit their referral card and you will receive up to 25% off products as well as a $50 visa gift card
If I do not meet my mandatory referral quota, will I still be able to receive my products?
If quota isn’t met, there will be fees associated with the sessions and products you received

What do I need to bring?
Bring a solid black and a solid white top, the style doesn't matter. Bring several of your favorite outfits, it’s good to have about 10 complete outfits together including coordinated jewelry, shoes and accessories/props, while we won’t use them all, it’s good to have a variety to choose from. Bring lots of accessories-hats, sunglasses, jewelry, and headbands… Make sure your clothes are ironed and lint free-we recommend bringing them on hangers.
Bring your prom/homecoming or evening dress if you have one. If you have a letterman jacket, play a sport, or are involved in a group/activity bring your uniform and workout clothes as well as any props (football, soccer ball, sheet music if you are in band or choir…). Make sure at least one of your outfits fits the yearbook requirements-check with your school for details on their guidelines.
Who all should come to the shoot? Can I bring a friend/family member?
We do not encourage anyone not in the photograph to come to your session. Our senior sessions are can involve hours of standing, moving, walking. Studio space is limited and we feel like additional friends and family will only be a distraction rather than a help.
Will these images be posted online or any social networks?
Session images will be posted online once you have placed your portrait order. Some images may also be posted to our senior facebook page.
How many photos do you typically take during the session?
We typically shoot up to 150 images during a normal session. This number varies depending on the number of activities and requested poses.
How many photos will I receive?
You will receive up to 20+ images with your 5x5 press printed album.
Do you offer professional retouching?
Basic retouching is included with all orders. This includes blemish removal and softening of skin. Any other retouching will require a custom artwork quote such as glass glare, braces, severe acne, or tan line removal.
How long does it take to get the photos back?
Our normal turnaround time for portraits is 2 weeks.
Do you have a hair/makeup artist that I need to use or do I need to provide that myself?
We will provide a makeup artist for your full session. Hair mist be taken care of on your end.

If I want a full session after the senior rep session, will I get a discount?
You will qualify for discounts of up to 25% for future sessions.
Can I order more prints/products later?
We will hold files for up to 30 days for any future purchases.
